Human Behaviour Analysis company BlueSkeye AI were announced as winners in the ‘One to Watch’ category at the Midlands Business Awards 2022. The awards celebrate the excellence that life science companies across the East and West Midlands achieve at the leading edge of the healthcare and life sciences sectors.

The ‘One to Watch’ award, presented by the Medilink judges, recognises the enormous potential of BlueSkeye AI and their innovative AI-based face-sensing technology. The award acknowledges the capabilities of their technology to support people with their long-term mood and mental-health and wellbeing management.

On receiving the award, Founding CEO, Professor Michel Valstar said “I am delighted that BlueSkeye AI have won this prestigious award. We are on a mission to improve people’s health and well-being by creating AI you can trust for a better future together.”

Launched in 2019, BlueSkeye AI is a spin-out of the University of Nottingham. Ethical AI is at the heart of their new facial behaviour analysis Software Development Kit: B-Social. B-Social officially launched at  the Consumer Technology Association trade show (CES 2022) in Las Vegas. BlueSkeye AI also recently launched Avocado, a pregnancy and mental health App, developed in partnership with UK leading private pregnancy ultrasound providers, Window to the Womb.
